Voluntary retirement estimate request form

Your LGPS benefits are usually payable from your Normal Pension Age (NPA).  If you retire, you can elect to receive your LGPS pension at any time between age 55 and age 75.  Taking your LGPS pension benefits earlier than your NPA means that they will be reduced to take account of the benefits being paid early and for longer. 

You can obtain an estimate of the benefits you might receive including any reductions for early payment by logging into your My Pension account at any time:

Log into your My Pension account here – select the option called ‘Retirement planner’ on your My Pension dashboard.

If you are within 18 months of your proposed retirement date, you can use this form to request a formal estimate from us. You should complete sections 1 and 2 of this form and then send it to your employer who will complete the rest of the form and submit it to us.  If you have any queries about the progress of your of your request, you should check with your employer in the first instance.
