Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Coronavirus (COVID-19) important update 23 March 2020.

The easiest way to contact us is by email.  You can email us at pensions.section@highland.gov.uk

You can find our online forms and guides on our website www.highlandpensionfund.org

We are currently still able to receive mail, however, it is unclear how long this this will continue.  Therefore, if you have forms to return to us, we would prefer to receive these by email as this will enable us to deal with them more efficiently.

If you wish to apply for payment of a deferred pension, you should complete the form called Application for payment of your pension benefits and return to us by email.

If you are wishing to retire, you should contact your employer as soon as possible and then complete the form called Application for payment of your pension benefits and return to us by email.  If we are unable to obtain final pay information from your employer, your benefits will be based on the latest information held on your pension record, these will be revised at a later date when the information is made available to us.

If you wish to notify us of the death of one of our members, you should complete the form called Death Notification Form and return to us by email.

If you wish to update your nomination details, you should complete the form called Nomination Form – Beneficiary and return to us by email.

If you wish to apply for a refund of pension contributions (this is only available if you have less than 2 years scheme membership), you should complete the form called Refund Option Form and return to us by email.

If you wish to opt out of the pension scheme, you should complete the form called Opt-Out form and return to us by email.

If you are a pensioner and you wish to change your bank details, you should do this using the online service MyView

If you already receive a pension from us, please be assured that our priority is to ensure that our current pensioners are paid on time each month as normal and we have contingency arrangements to ensure that this will be the case.
